The controlled parking scheme for the Divinity Road area is now in operation and widely praised as a great success. City councillor Graham Jones was involved in the scheme’s preparation and says he is delighed at the way it is working. The police have agreed to his request to get tough on drivers who are breaking the 20mph speed limit now the streets are clearer, and he’s keen to make sure that pavement parking keeps within the white lines.
