Delivery trucks clog up Cowley Road and St Clements Street, making you ill with fumes and spewing out CO2 – but that could change.

City councillors voted unanimously for a motion tabled by Graham that backs a cargo hub outside the city. Clean electric vehicles will bring goods to our shops and homes, cutting the number of dirty, heavy trucks and the number of deliveries.

A similar scheme in Bristol has cut deliveries by 75%. A hundred-plus businesses have signed up.
