People are saying how pleased they are with the new Controlled Parking Zone from Manzil Way to Hill Top Road and streets between. Lib Dem campaigner Graham Jones backed the scheme before his election in 2010 and was involved in the planning as a ward councillor.
Now the focus has turned to the need to enforce the 20mph speed limit. Responding to appeals from Divinity Road, Bartlemas Road and Southfields Road residents, Graham got police to agree to take action. ‘Slow down, drivers! Mobile cameras may be out today!’
In Princes Street residents met Graham and the Area Roads Steward to set out their demands for safer, slower traffic.
